- Residents’ Association meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month.
- Coffee every Wednesday morning @ 10:00 am.
- Bridge and other card games Monday nights @ 7:00 pm.
- Whist held on the 3rd Thursday of the month @ 7:00 pm.
- Cribbage Tournaments (dates to be posted).
- Pea Pool every Sunday afternoon 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
- Bus available on a bi-monthly basis for outings, local Casinos, MTS Centre, Rainbow Stage, etc. (Events must be organized.) Bus capacity approximately 30 people.
- Special events that are celebrated include New Year’s Eve, St. Patrick’s Day, Robbie Burns Day, Canada Day, Octoberfest and Halloween.
- Saturday night movies (videos) on 50” plasma TV, dates and times are posted.
- Christmas activities include decorating outdoor lights, 1st, 2nd, 3rd floor trees plus foyer and clubroom.
- New Year’s Eve celebration.
- Library with a good selection of soft and hard covered books, most donated by the residents.
- Your plants can be cared for in our sunroom while you are away (contact the plant committee).
- Security – We are members of the Winnipeg Police Service apartment watch – resident captain is Barry Christie.
- Spring planting and Fall flower bed clean up.
- Polo Park Safeway – Van leave our complex every Monday at 1:15 pm – shopping time is approximately 2 hours.
- Fire Security Captain is Dennis Lloyd.
- Foot Nurse is available the 3rd Monday of the month.
- Shuffle board is available (tournament dates will be posted).
- Various group outings – Race Track, Christmas tree lights, etc. – these must be organized.
- Key board and organ are available in the clubroom and sunroom.
- Copy machine and shredder are available in the general office.
- Clubroom is available for personal use – please contact Jim & Jean Robinson for application and approval – maximum capacity: 70 people.
- Car wash facilities available in the garage.
- Exercise class available every Tuesday 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
- Outgoing mail pick-up daily.
- T.G.I.F. get together every Friday @ 4:00 pm – B.Y.O.B.
- Pancake breakfast – dates and times to be posted.
- Casino trips to various casinos in the USA and Manitoba – dates and times to be posted.
- Monthly catered served dinners – excellent menus – dates and times to be posted.
- St. James Library, Bourkevale Community Club and Lawn Bowling Greens just outside your door.
